Barbec`s Restaurant in Dallas

Food service are always good to excellent here. I've had few complaints.over the years. The last visit was certainly no different

The Bisquits are the only thing worthy at this place. I've been going there for 25 years and the food is blah. Nothing special. Food took a long time to come out. The pancakes might be the worst ever!

Great breakfast spot with delicious biscuits! We ate here two days in a row while visiting friends in Dallas. This place has that down home diner feel with friendly servers, a counter you can sit at, and plenty of great food to choose. They are known for their beer battered biscuits and boy did they not disappoint! I don’t know what they put in them but they are delicious! Have a sweet taste. The first day I tried the Migas which is a mix scramble with they’re own veggie style hot sauce. The pancakes are good and bacon crispy. 👍🏻

Everyone at barbacs is great good thing especially the dishwasher Mary was great was a cleaning machine, she was pregnant everything and keeping up with everybody you ever need a hard worker look no further grabber when you can

Wow! The parking lot was packed but they still seated us right away. Coffee was good and my migas plate was enormous. And delicious. You've got to try the beer biscuits. Amazing 👌 Would go back just for those.

Barbec's is phenomenal! A co-worker & I popped in for a bite around 1pm this past Saturday. We were floored by all the choices! Great food, great service & great prices. Portions are gigantic but that just means you can look forward to yummy leftovers. 2ho knew beer biscuits could taste so good? We will definately be back.

Barbec’s is a perfect family friendly diner style restaurant. The catfish is delicious and the biscuits are the best in the entire city. Not expensive and definitely worth every penny

My girlfriend immediately threw up when we left after eating breakfast here. Only reason it's 2 stars instead of 1 is because I liked the food and felt fine.

Barbec's is excellent!! The food is amazing and the biscuits ate unlike any biscuit I have ever tasted. Seriously, you don't want to miss this place when passing through Dallas!Serving sizes are massive with an easy to digest price tag!

Amazing variety!!! Absolutely delicious! The waitstaff are kind and attentive! Huge portions. Great value! Love it! If you're looking for the diner feel .... but better food... this is it!!! There IS flavor in the food!(You know what I mean, don't play👍🏽)My children enjoyed it also.

After visiting Barbec's, I can say that I finally had Southern cuisine. I stumbled into the place as I didn't want to eat at Arboretum but wanted to explore the area a bit. It was a bit of a walk but it was definitely worth it.Thank you so much for the great food!!!

I had the chicken fried chicken the food was to die for had 2 sides the mac and cheese and mash potatoes would definitely recommend

I visit this restaurant many times a year! This is my favorite spot to to have a good dinner. I go to this spot many times. The cooking is excellent, the workers are friendly and the payment is reasonable. I like going in this restaurant for a nice lunch.

The numerous visits through he years with friends and family here at Barbec’s cannot be counted! Really a “go-to” anytime place for us over in the awhile Rock area!! Uneeda Biscuit sticks in my mind! They are delicious at Barbec’s! Daily specials and big helpings! Bling Blinky of Texas Shout Out: Bring your appetite and cash! No checks accepted!! Great eats!!

I live in E. Dallas and hadn't been to Barbec's in years. The waitstaff was very attentive, courteous, and efficient. Coffee was hot and delicious. I ordered the Veggie Omelette which was delivered quickly. Sadly, the omelette seemed to be cooked separate from the veggies, so the result was a lukewarm omelette folded around a very cold hash of veggies that must have been waiting in the fridge. There were fresh avocados on top of the omelette but none of the other icy veggies seemed fresh. Omelettes should be hot all the way through, and veggies on a "veggie omelette" should be fresh.

Food was disgusting. No flavor. And they only had a few items available on menus disapointed.

pretty good diner breakfast, just keep an eye out for clean silverware and clean coffee cups. Also unless you really are not a fan of flavor, don't get the gravy. You're better off just putting better and jelly on your biscuits. DELICIOUS biscuits though:)

great place to relax, people watch, eat good food or all the above. quick and friendly service. kinda of like a cafe in phoenix that i enjoyed.

The Sunshine is what it's called, and it was awesome. I worked at Barbec's for 13 years back in the day, and thought the food was good then. Soooooo much better now.

No what it once was. Went on a Saturday morning expecting a full counter...instead crickets. Bisquit still great though!!

Our service was amazing and the food was just what you would expect from a little home cooking place like it is. The all you can eat catfish on Friday is a must .

East Dallas landmark for beer biscuits and catfish dinners. Fast, friendly, service. Near Arboretum and White Rock Lake. They now accept credit cards.

We went to check out their Fried Catfish Friday and were not disappointed. We will be back to check out their breakfast

Really good food at a great price. The biscuits are amazing! They have a special Monday thru Thursday in the early lunch hours to buy one daily special lunch plate and get a second for $2.99

Still as a remember as a child coming here. Well actually has changed a lot inside and outside but for the better of the business & customers. Friendly hard working staff. The place still to this day only accepts CA$H, no credit cards. Beer Bisquits a must have here.. I wish they could ship to Florida so my whole family could try them.

Every dish is like a blue plate special. Real good food, and a lot for the money spent. It's good where we always get a go box if needed. Night waitress Kate is the best. I really recommend this one!

Barbec's is a small "in the know" type eatery. Although they are visible from a busy street and have been in the same place for many many years, if you don't know about them, well you don't know about them.It gives you the feel of a diner, not the segregated diners from the 60s, but more of a diner meet the 80s.If you're looking for fancy, walk on by. This place is anything but.The waitresses dress as they please, the rest rooms are old, dim and not clean as I'd prefer.I know I know, what about the food? The food is very large in portions, and quite tasty. My French toast was a little chilly and the bacon is best described as dry salt, and it was EXTRA crispy.All in all, this is a good place to dine if you want breakfast and a break from IHOP & Waffle House yellow.

Love coming here for breakfast! Everything was wonderful. I think gravy comes with almost every breakfast and who doesn't love gravy with breakfast?! The service was friendly and fast. It did seem a little cramped but it looks like we came in the middle of a remodel. We can't wait to come back !

In a Dallas world of fancy brunches and "new twists on old favorites", this place does classic right. You get a wonderful experience-from the food to the service- that takes you back in time.

My always go to spot for biscuits and gravy. I've been coming here since I was a kid. Never a bad experience. I hope to be able to take my kids here some day. ♡

I have been eating here since the 80's and the home cooked food is better than ever! Service is great and good news after decades of not taking credit or debit cards they do now! A must stop and eat in Dallas!
